The last part today: the border.
You've done it folks, you've crocheted a blanket in 13 weeks,
at least if
you're ready for the last part today,
If not, no problem either. Crochet at your own time!
HERE you can download part 13.
What an adventure it was again.
Geniet ervan!
HIER kun je deel 12 downloaden.
Part 11, We can really start counting down now.
People sometimes ask me if I really didn't already make a piece of the
sewing lines
from the lines we all have to make now.
But no, I actually sewed them when I had to.
For example, I worked on the squares and halves for 1 day,
especially now
with part 11 that is possible.
And then I sewed one sewing line per day/evening.
That worked fine for me.
HERE you can download part 11,
Have fun crocheting!
Deel 8 alweer.
Part 8.
A new pattern.
Make sure you place them correctly if you want the same
figure as what we made.
Of course you can also lay them all down in the same
way.
Here you can download part 8.
And? Was I right?
Pattern 2 was a thing, wasn't it?
Hopefully it all worked out and your blanket has grown again.
This week part 7 and so we are actually half way there.
HERE you can download part 7
Have fun!
HERE you can download part 5
Have fun crocheting!
HERE you can download part 4
Part 3.
A bit the same as part 1, also in terms of work.
Every week the rows get a little bigger and so does the sewing.
I already read on the FB group that people now think it's a bit of a shawl.
If you need some inspiration for a shawl...
then you might have found it here :)
HERE you can download part 3
Enjoy!
Was it OK? Part 1? Hopefully yes.
This week we are only doing 2 patterns and 2 pattern 5 halves.
We had already crocheted pattern 8 in part 1 and now pattern 5 will be added.
So a new pattern.
We also only do 1 sewing line.
By the way, how do you like this way of sewing together?
I personally had never done it but once I figured it out,
it went pretty fast too.
The sewing is getting a little more each time, crocheting also up to the
middle,
but somewhere from halfway up, the strips will also be sewn together from
bottom to top.
Then the parts to crochet become smaller again.
Anyway.... Have fun crocheting again!
HERE you can find part 2
Finally we can start!
By the way,
do you know that it for Naomi and me
look likes it's been
ages since we crocheted the Crossroads?
The testers
have also been ready for months.
A moment for
all of us to "get back into it".
I just went
through today's patterns so I can remember what we're talking about.
This week we will crochet several
granny's that we will also partly sew together.
In
the end we don't have to do all that anymore.
The
advantage is that you see your blanket grow,
instead of your pile of granny's.
Especially
for people who find it a crime to join grannys it
is important to keep track of it every week.
This
week we will be crocheting patterns 1, 3, 4 and 8.
A
few half and even a quarter patterns are also planned.
What's
different from previous years is that the video shows the whole pattern.
From
starting with the magic ring to the very last stitch is on video.
Ideal
for those who are not so good at reading patterns, you can just join in.
You
already knew that the speed of the video,
which
by the way plays at 50% of my actual crochet speed,
you can slow down via the tool at the bottom of the video?
That
way you can see it even better.
We
did not film the half and quarter patterns but
if you have worked the entire patterns,
the halves and quarters should
definitely work through the pattern.
After
all, you have already crocheted the stitches.
Mark
the corners, that will only make it easier for you later.
You
can of course also use a thread instead of a marker,
or
a safety pin, a paper clip, a hair clip,
whatever
you are used to using as a marker.
What's
also different is that you can't immediately download the pattern here.
You
will now be referred to the page on our website
where all parts will soon be
together.
This
is easier for me, especially when a new file has to be created unexpectedly.
Via THIS LINK you go to the page on the website where you can download part 1.
Have fun!!
Tuesday, February 15, 2022, the day that many people receive the package,
or can be picked up/purchased from your local retailer from today.
This also means that the Allerhande file will be online today.
The file with all the necessary information about the Cal.
You will find
the yarn quantities, the crochet hook size, the size of the blanket
and
whatever else you want to know.
You can download the file via the Haakplein website (something different
than usual).
This link will take you to the page intended for the Crossroads Cal.
When you scroll down a bit you will see the file there.
When you click on it, it will download and you can save it on your device.
